The Art of Resilience

A Kintsugi Pottery Experience

A Creative Workshop for Reflection & Growth

Repairing broken pottery.

Rediscovering yourself.

Life leaves its mark on all of us.

We all carry experiences that have shaped us.

Some have strengthened us.

Others have left cracks we wish we could hide.

But what if those cracks weren't something to erase?

What if they became part of your story?

Inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold rather than discarded, this interactive workshop invites you to slow down, reflect, and create something meaningful with your own hands.

We'll explore resilience, self-compassion, and personal growth through psychology, guided reflection, and the creative process of transforming a broken ceramic piece into a beautiful keepsake.

This isn't an art class. It isn't group therapy.

It's a thoughtfully designed experience that combines psychology, creativity, and conversation in a welcoming space where you can reconnect with yourself.

During this workshop, you'll

  • Create your own gold-repaired ceramic keepsake inspired by the art of kintsugi.

  • Explore how challenges can shape growth without defining your identity.

  • Practice approaching yourself with greater acceptance and compassion.

  • Reflect on your own story through guided journaling and meaningful discussion.

  • Leave with practical insights you can continue using long after the workshop ends.

  • A short psychology presentation

  • Guided reflection exercises

  • Your own kintsugi-inspired ceramic project

  • A beautiful keepsake to take home

Meet Your Facilitator

Hi, I'm Dr. Vy Tran.

I'm a licensed psychologist and the creator of Psychology Studio, a series of interactive workshops that bring psychology to life through creativity, reflection, and meaningful conversation.

I believe personal growth doesn't have to happen only in a therapy office. Sometimes it happens while painting, creating, laughing, connecting with others, and seeing yourself from a new perspective.

My hope is that you'll leave with more than a ceramic keepsake.

I hope you'll leave with a little more compassion for yourself and a renewed appreciation for the story only you can tell.
